Dont bring an excess amount of people, please. The house will be pretty packed as is, about 60-70 people as of now. If you must bring an unusual amount of people, LET ME KNOW FIRST Preferably by Friday! This is because we will only have a certain amount of food and dont want your friends mooching off of our food. Thanks.

OK, if you are not on this list, you will not be attending. If you want to be on the list please contact Joaquin or Nicole via email or phone call. I will turn you away if you are not on the list. Sorry.

We have an idea of having a main course of LASAGNA, RAVIOLI, and GARLIC BREAD. The team will provide the main course, you bring the rest.

For those who signed up to bring dessert or those who didnt sign up for anything, try to bring something else like salad material or some other type of side dish, UNLESS you really have a bomb recipe!

FOr those who dont know what to bring or didnt sign up for something, maybe bring some garlic bread and/or non-alcoholic drink (ie juice, soda, sparkling cider, water)

SPINACH AND SOUR CREAM DIP (2.99 AT TRADER JOES) PUT IT IN THE CENTER OF A ROUND LOAF OF SOURDOUGH **this would be good, maybe a couple of these!**

(of course you can go buy this stuff elsewhere than trader joes, this was just an example of the price range; pretty cheap.)

Taylor is bringing salad, if someone who isnt bringing something wants to help out Taylor make a big salad please do it, we need a LARGE salad!

If you signed up for something, make sure you show up with it, there will be a lot of hungry people. If you dont show up with something, we will make you go get something to bring.

Again, we will have a dinner, awards, raffle, a fire, videos, music, overall results review and good times.

IF you would like to help set up and/or decorate, call me (Joaquin) at 7602241035 to let me know you would like to help. I will give raffle tix. Also, I will need help cleaning up probably on Sunday sometime.

For now that is all. Will update as more info comes along.
PLEASE use this message board to communicate, post ideas etc.

I (Joaquin) have a room at the Sands Regency Resort and Casino for Fri and Sat as well. I have room for some people and you will need to throw down about $15-20, this will cover your stay for both nights, depending on how many people there will be.
Call me for more details @ 760-224-1035

Both of these hotels are less than a half mile to each other so if you wanna hang out at both hotels/casinos they are real close.

Sands Regency Hotel/ Casino --> 80 EAST, Take exit #12/KEYSTONE AVE onto KEYSTONE AVE, turn Left on W 4TH ST , Turn Right on N ARLINGTON AVE, Arrive at 345 N ARLINGTON AVE.

October 20-22 Lagrange Fall Classic, Weaverville, CA : Super-D Friday, Cross Country Saturday, Downhill Sunday. Held in the Weaver Basin Trail System, the we have a ton of singletrack to work with---many of the trails are flume trails dug by hand during the 1850's gold rush. Friday's Super-D starts way up Weaver Bolly Mountain and then joins on to the some of the best parts of the XC...last year's winning expert time was over 20-minutes! Yeah, you'll get your money's worth! The Cross-country is mostly singletrack, experts and sports get to enjoy the challenge of the Lagrange Ditch trail. The Downhill starts way up Weaver Bolly mountain and drops over 2500 feet in a 4-mile plunge to the singletrack finish near East Weaver Campground. To enter on-line, click here

Team Bigfoot award to top 3 in each category
SUPER D: The course uses some of the upper 2/3 of the Downhill course, then veers onto a 3-mile section of the famed flume trails of our cross-country course for a total of 6+ miles of swooping, speeding, roller-coaster ride fun!!
CROSS COUNTRY: Much of the course is on flume trails dug by hand during the gold-rush days of the 1850's. Start/Finish line is at Trinity High School. The Beginner cross-county course is 16 miles of singletrack and fireroad with about 2000' of climbing. The Sport/Expert/Pro Course is about 21 miles and includes the famous LaGrange Ditch singletrack.. .fun stuff!
DOWNHILL: The Downhill course is about 4 miles and has over 2400'' of altitude drop. We run shuttles from the High School. Course will be open for practice on Saturday after the Super-D to registered riders who have picked up their rider packet and signed their waivers. On race day we shuttle with trucks and trailers, and racers who have appropriate vehicles are encouraged to shuttle themselves to help speed up the day. On Sunday we run downhill practice shuttles at 9am. Each racer gets as many practice runs as they can squeeze in before timed runs begin at noon.

there is also a lot of road rides here locally:
honey run,
sac river loop,
nord/cana highway loop,
table mountain
etc etc...

Parkfield Pics???

What a killer weekend...camping, riding/jumping bikes of all makes and sizes, and cheering for poor souls to eat dirt...what fun...besides the 6 hour drive. Anyways, hope everyone had some fun and hope that some of you have some great pictures!!! Send them my way and maybe we can put something together for the meeting or at least the site. Plus I want to see some of those pixie jumping pics, since I was riding and didn't get to see most of it...

Sorry all...but Downieville is cancelled due to a wildfire; roads have been closed making it impossible for us to ride up there.

HOWEVER...we are planning an alternate trip somewhere else...

Joaquin sent out emails so check them. There are important directions and information about this weekend in Whiskeytown. We are staying at Sheep Camp close to Whiskeytown lake and there is Downhilling and Cross-Country riding in the area!
